Most butterflies are very skittish to human and my success rate of getting a reasonable shot of it is very low. This Mottled Emigrant, which I originally thought to be a Lemon Emigrant, is one exception. It was spotted in a mid-morning flying around me and suddenly perched on a leaf near. To my surprise, it stayed there for more than 20 minutes for me to adjust and refine my shots.

It was so cooperative that I was even able to go very near to get this close-up shot of its face region.
